Surprisingly, Pakistani fans even called on Ali Zafar, a renowned singer, to create an anthem that would unite both nations. In response, Zafar pointed out that marketing professionals and big sponsors may be behind the anthem’s shortcomings. Despite the rivalry on the cricket field, both Pakistani and Indian fans came together to criticize the anthem for its inability to capture the excitement of the tournament.
