Pakistan hockey entered the league after New Zealand declined participation. New Zealand had won the 2024–25 Nations Cup but did not take part in the Pro League. As runners-up, Pakistan was invited and accepted the slot.
So far, Pakistan hockey has played two phases of the tournament. The first phase was held in Rosario, Argentina. The team faced strong opponents, including the Netherlands and Argentina.
The second phase took place in Hobart, Australia. Pakistan played against Australia and Germany in that stage. However, results have been difficult for the team overall.
In total, Pakistan hockey has played eight matches so far. The team has lost all eight games. It has scored 13 goals and conceded 37 goals. Pakistan currently sits at the bottom of the standings with zero points.
The next phase will begin in Wavre, Belgium. Pakistan will face Belgium and Spain in four matches. This stage is expected to test the team against strong European sides.
The opening match in Belgium will be against hosts Belgium on June 13. Pakistan will then play Spain on June 14. The team will again face Belgium on June 19 and Spain on June 20.
After the Belgium leg, Pakistan hockey will travel to London for the final stage of the campaign. The team will play four matches in England.
Pakistan will face India on June 23 and England on June 24. The team will meet India again on June 26. The final match of the season will be played against England on June 27.
Officials and fans are hoping for improved performances in the final phase. The team will aim to gain experience and finish the season on a stronger note.
