Acknowledging the British government’s support through the Upskill Programme, Naqvi praised its role in combating organised crime. He highlighted that the initiative has delivered concrete results, including improved cooperation between Pakistani and British agencies.

Naqvi also revealed a recent success by the Anti-Narcotics Force, which, with assistance from the UK’s National Crime Agency, seized 4.3 tonnes of opium worth £22 million. In response, Lammy thanked Pakistan for its continued support, particularly in aiding the resettlement of Afghan refugees, and expressed satisfaction over the ongoing success of the Upskill Programme.
