Pakistan and Belarus Strengthen Bilateral Ties with Key Agreements
Pakistan and Belarus have reached a significant agreement to register Belarusian veterinary medicines in Pakistan, marking a new chapter in healthcare cooperation between the two countries. The development took place during the eighth joint ministerial commission meeting.
Expanding Collaboration Across Multiple Sectors
Officials from both nations are finalizing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on labor migration, which is expected to be signed soon. The commission meeting also focused on strengthening partnerships in healthcare, agriculture, and technology.

According to the Economic Affairs spokesperson, commercial banks from both countries will provide financial support to businesses and traders, facilitating smoother economic transactions. Both nations have also committed to expanding cooperation in science and technology.

- Agriculture: Both sides agreed to strengthen existing partnerships in the farming sector.
- Energy & Trade: Economic ties will be reinforced through financial sector collaboration.
- Media & Communications: Plans are underway to resume cooperation between Pakistan Television (PTV) and Belarus’s state television network.
High-Level Meetings and Future Prospects
During the visit, the Pakistani delegation held discussions with Belarus’s Minister for Energy, Minister for Agriculture, and Deputy Foreign Minister. Officials expressed optimism about deepening bilateral ties and fostering long-term cooperation in key economic and technological sectors.
