A Pakistani expatriate employed in Saudi Arabia has struck it rich in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), becoming an instant millionaire by winning AED 1 million in the Mahzooz 145th draw on September 9, 2023.
Zain, a 41-year-old IT Support specialist who has long considered Saudi Arabia his home, received a pleasant surprise while getting ready for a family outing when he received an email from Mahzooz. Initially, he believed he had won only AED 250, but upon closer examination, he was astounded to discover that he had won a substantial AED 1 million prize.

“I’m absolutely thrilled! This victory has completely transformed my life,” exclaimed a jubilant Zain. He first learned about Mahzooz from a UAE news website approximately a year ago and has been trying his luck every week since, hoping for a significant win.
In the same draw, many others also had the fortune smile upon them, as 1,202 winners shared a total prize of AED 1,494,750. Notably, earlier in the month, a 27-year-old Pakistani expatriate in the UAE secured an AED 1 million prize in the Mahzooz 144th draw held on September 2, 2023. Muhammad, a finance manager and an ardent cricket enthusiast, expressed his disbelief at the win, revealing that he had purchased a Mahzooz water bottle just 25 minutes before the deadline to participate in the draw. Participants enter the draw by purchasing a Mahzooz water bottle priced at AED 35.
