Emaan Rajab, the wife of YouTuber Rajab Butt, became emotional during a recent live session, where she appealed for the well-being of their son, Kivan, and urged both families to settle their differences away from the public eye.
Holding back tears, Emaan said her biggest wish is for Kivan to grow up with the love, guidance, and support of both his mother and father. She stressed that her efforts have always been focused on protecting her family and ensuring a better future for her son.
During the live session, Emaan said the ongoing rumours, allegations, and social media discussions surrounding her separation have had a serious emotional impact on her. She explained that she had remained silent for a long time because she did not want private family matters to become public controversy.
She urged both families to sit together respectfully and resolve their issues through dialogue instead of allowing social media debates to make the situation worse. According to Emaan, many claims circulating online are inaccurate and have only created more misunderstandings.
Speaking about Kivan, Emaan said no matter how much a mother does for her child, she cannot replace a father’s presence. She added that her son deserves to receive his father’s love, care, and affection while growing up.
Emaan also stated that she has never prevented Rajab Butt from meeting their son and denied allegations that he faced harassment during his visits. She further rejected claims that she wanted to live separately from a joint family, saying she herself was raised in a joint family and always respected Rajab’s parents.
She explained that she had tried to save her marriage and chose not to disclose private matters despite knowing information that could damage reputations. According to Emaan, protecting family dignity has always been more important than gaining public sympathy.
Her emotional appeal came shortly after Rajab Butt publicly denied rumours of reconciliation, stating that their divorce is final. However, he also said he would continue fulfilling all of his legal and parental responsibilities toward their son, Kivan.
