Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were permitted to meet at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Tuesday as part of a scheduled visitation arrangement. The meeting reportedly took place inside the prison’s conference room and continued for around 40 minutes.
According to media reports, Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan used the opportunity to discuss personal matters and inquire about each other’s health and well-being. The meeting was held under the prison’s established procedures and was part of the scheduled day allocated for visits to the former prime minister.
Earlier in the day, several PTI leaders attempted to meet Imran Khan at the jail. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur arrived at Gorakhpur Naka along with members of his cabinet. However, reports indicate that police officials stopped the delegation before they could proceed further toward the prison.
The visit day also saw the arrival of Imran Khan’s sisters. Reports stated that Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan reached Factory Naka in hopes of meeting the PTI founder. Despite their arrival, they were reportedly not granted permission to meet him.
The meeting between Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan comes amid ongoing political developments surrounding the former prime minister and his party. While details of their discussion were not disclosed, reports suggest the interaction remained focused on personal matters and mutual well-being.
The latest developments have once again drawn public attention to visitation arrangements at Adiala Jail, where Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan remain at the center of political and media interest. PTI supporters and party leaders continue to closely monitor developments related to the former premier and his family.
