The siblings were reportedly fighting over the device when the sister decided that no one would get it. The girl was taken to the hospital after complaining of severe abdominal pain and vomiting. In the hospital, she underwent surgery to safely remove the phone from her stomach.

During the two-hour surgery, the girl received ten stitches.
The doctor who examined the girl stated that he had never seen anything like it before. He also urged parents to exercise caution when handing cellphones to their children.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
