JIT Investigates PTI Leaders Over Social Media Smear Campaign
ISLAMABAD – The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on Tuesday conducted separate interrogations of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders in connection with an alleged smear campaign on social media.

PTI Leaders Questioned
The following leaders were grilled by the JIT:
- Salman Akram Raja
- Raoof Hassan
- Kanwal Shauzab
- Asad Qaiser
- Shah Farman
- Aliya Hamza
Additionally, Ali Imran, the lawyer representing Aliya Hamza and Kanwal Shauzab, also appeared before the court.
Response Submission Deadline
Sources revealed that the JIT has directed the PTI leaders to submit their responses soon.
The investigation is part of the government’s crackdown on online campaigns deemed misleading or defamatory.
