During their second meeting, the council opted to adopt last year’s syllabus for this year’s exam to make it easier for students across the country and owing to time restrictions.

The old syllabus had been authorised by the academic board, and it would have been difficult to develop a new one on such short notice. This would also be a concern because the federal government has yet to form a new board.
According to PMDC, the MDCAT registration portal will be open for 15 days in early July. PMDC has also addressed the federal health secretary and all provincial health secretaries, requesting that a university in each province be designated to organise the exam in accordance with the authorised syllabus.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
