Harassment Case Against Newly Launched Islamabad’s Dolphin Police

Share

An inquiry has been launched against four officers of the recently renamed Dolphin Force in Islamabad following accusations of harassment from families in public spaces. The Station House Officer (SHO) lodged an official complaint on behalf of the affected families.

The four accused personnel were serving in the recently established Dolphin Force, an elite police unit responsible for maintaining law and order in the capital city. The filed police complaint alleges that these officials engaged in misconduct and harassed families at various public locations within the city.

According to the complainants, the Dolphin Force officials “misused their authority and intimidated innocent civilians,” causing distress to families who were simply going about their daily routines in public areas.

As the investigation progresses, authorities will thoroughly examine the evidence and statements provided by the affected families to ascertain the veracity of the harassment allegations.

It’s important to note that the Dolphin Force was inaugurated in Islamabad only a few days ago by Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, with the primary objective of enhancing security measures and ensuring a safer environment for the city’s residents.
