Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif unveiled plans for electric buses in Lahore during the inauguration of the remodeling project at Shahdara Metrobus Station.

Emphasizing the importance of public transportation in mitigating environmental pollution, CM Maryam noted that Lahore, with a population exceeding 10 million, has ranked among the cities with the poorest air quality worldwide.
During her inspection of the station, CM Maryam visited a new counter dedicated to female passengers and instructed staff to deliver exceptional service to all commuters. She also received a briefing on the station’s renovation before boarding a metro bus to Gaddafi Stadium.
The Secretary of Transport and Mass Transit Authority briefed CM Maryam on the metro bus service, highlighting that it serves over 176,000 passengers daily, with 25,000 passengers originating from the Shahdara station.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
