In upper and central Sindh, southern Punjab, and parts of Balochistan, temperatures may remain 4 to 6°C higher than usual.
The Met Office also predicted dust storms and gusty winds over the plains due to intense heat.
Citizens, particularly children, the elderly, and women, have been advised to take precautions against the extreme heat. Experts recommend avoiding direct sunlight during peak hours and drinking plenty of water.
Additionally, rising temperatures in northern regions could accelerate snowmelt during this period.
Yesterday, much of the country experienced hot and dry conditions, with severe heat in the plains. Jacobabad recorded the highest temperature at 50°C, followed by Dadu and Sibi at 49°C, and Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, and Shaheed Benazirabad at 47°C.
