UAE Unveils New 100-Dirham Note with improved Security

The UAE Central Bank has launched a new 100-dirham banknote featuring advanced security measures and a modern design.

Made from durable, eco-friendly polymer, the note incorporates anti-counterfeiting features like Spark Flow Dimensions and KINEGRAM Colors. It has a red-toned design, showcasing Umm Al Quwain Fort on the front and Fujairah Port with Etihad Rail on the back, representing the nation’s heritage and progress.

For accessibility, it includes Braille markings to assist visually impaired users. The current 100-dirham notes will remain valid, allowing both versions to be used in transactions.
