Pakistan’s Champions Trophy campaign ended without a win as their final match against Bangladesh was abandoned due to rain.
Led by Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan finished at the bottom of the points table after suffering defeats against India and New Zealand in their first two matches. India secured a six-wicket victory over Pakistan in Dubai to qualify for the semi-finals, while New Zealand had beaten them by 60 runs in the tournament opener.

Despite their early exit, Pakistan received $140,000 from the $2.24 million prize pool, the same amount as seventh-placed Bangladesh. The tournament winner will take home $2.24 million along with the trophy on March 9, while the runner-up will receive $1.12 million. Losing semi-finalists will each get $560,000 from the total $6.9 million prize pool, which is a 53% increase from the 2017 edition.
Each group-stage win is worth over $34,000, while teams finishing fifth or sixth will earn $350,000 each. All eight participating teams are also guaranteed a minimum of $125,000 for competing in the 2025 Champions Trophy.
