Top Muslim Leaders Back Trump at Michigan Rally over Gaza

At a Michigan rally, prominent Muslim leaders joined Donald Trump on stage to endorse his 2024 presidential run, citing his promises to end international conflicts. Imam Belal Alzuhairi spoke at the event in Novi, Michigan, affirming that Muslims support Trump for his commitment to peace, saying, “We are supporting Donald Trump because he promised to end the wars in the Middle East and Ukraine.”

Trump emphasized his alignment with Muslim and Arab voters in seeking an end to “endless wars” and prioritizing peace in the Middle East. He also highlighted Vice President Kamala Harris’s ties to Liz Cheney, known for supporting U.S. military actions, as a contrast to his stance.

Many Michigan Muslims, historically Democratic voters, have grown critical of the Biden administration’s stance on Gaza, with some distancing from Biden over his support for Israel.
