In their statement, they expressed gratitude to their global audience for their support but acknowledged that recent criticism in Pakistan, particularly concerning the show’s portrayal of homosexuality and controversial themes, has influenced their decision.
The web series, written and directed by Asim Abbasi, features Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed. While the initial episodes were well-received, the third episode faced backlash due to its depiction of romantic scenes between two male characters and its exploration of sensitive topics like indecency and adultery.
