Pakistani television host, actor and radio broadcaster Tauseeq Haider has denied viral rumours claiming that he married veteran actress and television presenter Farah Sadia. The speculation began after AI-generated images showing the two celebrities dressed as a bride and groom spread rapidly across social media.
The edited images were created using artificial intelligence and appeared convincing to many users. As the pictures gained attention, several social media accounts shared them as if they were real, leading many people to believe that Tauseeq Haider and Farah Sadia had secretly tied the knot.
However, both celebrities quickly dismissed the rumours. Responding in a light-hearted manner, Tauseeq Haider and Farah Sadia clarified that there is no truth to the claims. They explained that they share a long-standing friendship and nothing more.
The two also expressed concern over the misuse of artificial intelligence to create misleading content. They urged people who make fake AI images to use technology in a positive and responsible way instead of spreading false information that can mislead the public.
The incident has once again highlighted the growing challenge of AI-generated content on social media. As artificial intelligence tools become more advanced, fake photos and videos are becoming increasingly realistic, making it difficult for users to distinguish between genuine and fabricated content. Experts continue to encourage people to verify information before believing or sharing viral posts online.
Tauseeq Haider is among Pakistan’s most respected television and radio personalities. He started his broadcasting career with Radio Pakistan in 1987 as a newsreader. He is widely recognised as the country’s first FM radio voice and later became a familiar face on television through hosting and acting. Over the years, he has appeared in several successful drama serials and entertainment programmes.
Farah Sadia is also a prominent name in Pakistan’s entertainment industry. She gained popularity through the hit drama Bandhan and went on to act in numerous television serials. Alongside acting, she has hosted several well-known morning shows, earning recognition for her long and successful career in television.
The viral AI images may have created confusion online, but both celebrities have confirmed that the marriage rumours are completely false.
