Tayyaba Raja Of PTI Criticizes Sanam Javed's Senate Nomination

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Tayyaba Raja has voiced strong opposition to Sanam Javed’s selection as a Senate candidate representing the party. Taking to the platform X, commonly referred to as Twitter, Tayyaba publicly criticized Sanam’s nomination for the Senate seat, asserting, “It is not appropriate to rise to prominence at the expense of others’ sacrifices.”

Tayyaba raised questions regarding the repeated granting of bail to Sanam Javed by the anti-terrorism court. Sanam has been arrested a total of eight times, with bail being granted on seven occasions. This recurring pattern prompted Tayyaba to question the integrity of the legal proceedings, particularly in light of her own and Aliya Hamza’s prolonged legal battles. Tayyaba highlighted the stark contrast in the treatment received, citing the arduous process and numerous obstacles faced in securing bail from the Lahore High Court.

Additionally, Tayyaba queried the preferential media coverage afforded to Sanam Javed, emphasizing the apparent disparity in the visibility and attention given to her case compared to others. Tayyaba expressed a collective sense of frustration among PTI members, suggesting that their silence would be temporary until the return of Imran Khan, implying a forthcoming surge in vocal opposition and discontent within the party ranks.

Overall, Tayyaba Raja’s remarks underscore a broader concern within PTI regarding fairness, transparency, and accountability in the party’s internal processes and decision-making.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
