Multan Sultans Launch 'The Sultans Elite Squad' Player Development Program

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Multan Sultans have introduced “The Sultans Elite Squad” as their player development initiative, with the goal of identifying and nurturing promising talent for higher-level cricket.

Trials and developmental camps for this program will take place at the Multan Sultans Academy Lodhran, formerly known as the Tareen Academy. Following these trials, a group of 24 talented players will be chosen to join “The Sultans Elite Squad.”

This initiative will be overseen by Muhammad Waseem, former Chief Selector and Head of Development at Multan Sultans, and will provide these young players with the opportunity to train under renowned coaches like Ian Pont, Julian Wood, and others.

As part of their development journey, The Sultans Elite Squad will participate in local tournaments across Pakistan, with the ultimate aim of representing Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League.
