The PCB’s selection committee is scheduled to meet in Lahore, where it is expected to confirm the new Test captain and announce the squad for Pakistan’s two-match Test series against the West Indies. However, the squad for the subsequent Test tour of England is likely to be unveiled at a later stage.

Pakistan’s tour of the Caribbean will feature two Test matches before the team travels to England for a three-match Test series. The first Test against the West Indies is set to begin on July 25 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.
The upcoming series is significant for several reasons. It will be the first-ever men’s Test match hosted at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, marking a historic moment for the venue.
