Pakistani actress and internet personality Dananeer Mobeen has found herself at the center of an online discussion after sharing a humorous Instagram Story about experiencing a flat tyre during her journey.
In her post, Dananeer explained that her car suffered a punctured tyre while she was travelling. She sought help from rescue personnel, who quickly arrived and assisted her in resolving the issue. Afterward, she shared a light-hearted comment with her followers, joking that the experience had made her question her desire to be “independent and self-reliant.”
Continuing the joke, Dananeer wrote that she would now rather have someone who could look after her while she spent her time enjoying nature and baking banana bread. She also thanked the rescue team for responding promptly and helping her during the unexpected situation.
The Instagram Story soon spread across social media, where it received mixed reactions from users. Many people understood the post as a harmless joke and praised Dananeer for her humorous personality. Fans said the actress was simply sharing a relatable moment in a fun way and that the post should not be taken too seriously.
Others, however, argued that anyone who drives a vehicle—particularly those who value independent driving—should also know how to change a flat tyre. Some users suggested that basic vehicle maintenance is an important skill for every driver.
At the same time, many social media users defended Dananeer, pointing out that asking for assistance during an emergency does not make someone less independent. They argued that seeking help when needed is perfectly normal and questioned why a clearly humorous post had turned into a serious debate.
Dananeer first gained nationwide and international fame in 2021 after her viral “Pawri Ho Rahi Hai” video became an internet sensation. Since then, she has successfully transitioned into acting and has appeared in several popular Pakistani television dramas. Her performance in Sinf-e-Aahan and other projects has earned her widespread appreciation, helping establish her as one of the country’s rising young stars.
Although the flat tyre incident was shared in a playful tone, it has once again shown how even a simple social media post by Dananeer can spark widespread conversation and differing opinions online.
