Major developments have surfaced in the high-profile Pinky case, as SSP City has been removed from his position amid ongoing investigations. The action was taken following growing scrutiny surrounding the case and internal police inquiries.
According to police sources, several officers had already faced disciplinary action in connection with the Pinky case. Earlier, SHO Garden, SIO Garden, and the Investigation Officer (IO) were suspended as part of the departmental proceedings.
Sources further revealed that two female police officers were also suspended over alleged negligence and matters linked to the investigation. In addition, authorities have recommended the suspension of SSP City Ali Hassan as the probe continues to widen.
