The Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged all Hajj pilgrims to complete their biometric verification through the official Saudi mobile application before the February 8 deadline.
According to the ministry’s spokesperson, a fresh advisory has been issued to ensure that intending pilgrims finish the mandatory biometric process on time to avoid any delays in their travel arrangements. The verification must be carried out using the “Saudi Visa Bio” app, which has been introduced to simplify and speed up the visa procedure.
Officials explained that the new system allows pilgrims to complete fingerprint and identity verification from their homes using their smartphones. This digital process has been designed to make the procedure easier and more convenient, eliminating the need for most applicants to visit offices in person.
However, for those who may face technical difficulties or require assistance, the ministry has arranged additional support services. Special Tasjeer Centers will remain operational over the weekend to facilitate pilgrims who cannot complete the process independently. These centers will be open on both Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing help with biometric registration and guidance regarding the app.
The spokesperson emphasized that completing the verification within the given timeframe is essential for the issuance of Hajj visas. Pilgrims who fail to meet the deadline may encounter complications in their documentation or travel plans.
Authorities have therefore advised all applicants to finish the process as soon as possible to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey for Hajj 2026.
