Abbasi announced on social media that Jaan-e-Jahan will mark his return to television. The caption of an Instagram image read, “Glad to introduce you to the captivating universe of our next production Jaan-e-Jahan penned by Rida Bilal, directed by Qasim Ali Mureed.”

Coming soon to a TV near you, produced by Samina Humayun Saeed and Sana Shahnawaz!

The airing date and further details about the 38-year-old star’s recently announced project are kept under wraps.

2022, however, has been fruitful for Abbasi’s newsworthy career. The Mann Mayal actor’s last project, Lashari’s magnum opus, has become Pakistan’s highest-grossing film of all time. “I was part of this project from the very beginning. I was very excited to do this.

I was very excited about Bilal’s vision of executing his idea of Noori. It was easier for me to do this role because I was a part of this project from the start,” Abbasi told The Express Tribune in a previous interview.

Abbasi stated that the position was still very difficult. The heat of Lahore, the beard, and the hair made Noori’s attire taxing. There was additional pressure to fill Mustafa Qureshi Sahab’s shoes.

I would describe it as the most difficult persona I have ever encountered,” said Abbasi.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
