Thrilling “Citadel” trailer released starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Richard Madden

Citadel’s trailer, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden, was released by the Russo brothers on Monday, two years and $185 million later. The spy series follows the two as they attempt to reconnect with their roots.

Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh, played by Madden and Chopra Jonas, are former members of the autonomous intelligence outfit Citadel, which was brought down by a crime gang called Manticore. Mason and Nadia have no recollection of their time at Citadel and live anonymous lives as completely different people – until their former colleague Bernard (Stanley Tucci) recruits them again.

If, you know, the flagship programme is in English, you have an Indian show, an Italian show, and the characters and stories kind of, you know, merge and overlap.

“So, will that take a territory of people and make them watch another language?” she asked. For example, will the spectators of the Italian performance desire to watch the Hindi language show, despite the fact that they have no language in common? But what excites and fascinates me is the cross-pollination of cultures and how entertainment today transcends borders and language.”
