SHC orders immediate restoration of ARY NEWS.

On Tuesday, the Sindh High Court (SHC) ordered the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) and cable companies to immediately restore ARY News programming.

PEMRA’s orders were suspended, and ARY News transmission was restored immediately, according to Justice Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan.

According to Lawyer Ayan Memon, the SHC court heard ARY News’s petition and granted directions to PEMRA and cable companies to promptly restore ARY News transmission.

Ayan Memon went on to say that ARY News had filed an appeal with the SHC against PEMRA’s orders. The PEMRA’s instructions have been suspended by the SHC.
