The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah clarified that between May 24 and June 26th, Umrah permits will only be issued to those with confirmed Hajj permits, aiming to streamline the pilgrimage process and ensure a smoother journey for pilgrims.
The Ministry of Interior announced strict measures against violators, including fines of SR10,000 for those caught entering Makkah without a valid Hajj permit between Dhul Qada 25 and Dhul Hijjah 14th. Repeat offenders face fines of up to SR100,000, deportation for expatriates, and bans on re-entry.

Saudi Arabia expects over 2 million pilgrims and has made arrangements accordingly. Pilgrims will display special tags to help authorities identify illegal pilgrims. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah launched the Nusuk Card, containing comprehensive pilgrim data. Pilgrims must display this card, available digitally on Saudi apps Nusuk and Tawakklana, to access holy sites and move around the kingdom.
The Nusuk Card is defined as an official printed card aimed at distinguishing legal pilgrims at holy places. Minister of Hajj, Tawfik Al Rabiah, inaugurated the card, emphasizing its importance in facilitating the pilgrimage process.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
