Probe Deepens as "100GB Data" Recovered in Anmol Pinky Case

Significant progress has been reported in the investigation of the Anmol Pinky case, with forensic assistance from federal investigative agencies, according to sources cited by ARY News.

The suspect, Anmol Pinky, was arrested in May from her Garden apartment in a joint operation conducted by police and a civilian intelligence agency. The arrest was made in connection with two separate cases involving alleged possession of narcotics and an unlicensed weapon, both of which remain under active investigation.

Investigators have now received a detailed forensic report of the suspect’s mobile phone, which has been handed over to the investigating officer for further examination. Officials say the digital evidence is expected to play a key role in building the case as inquiries continue.

According to sources, more than 100GB of data has been recovered from the device, including around 75,000 images and other visual material. The recovered files reportedly contain screenshots of online transactions, bank slips, and multiple financial records, indicating extensive digital activity under review.

Further analysis has revealed contact data linked to approximately 13,000 individuals, along with nearly 42,000 call logs associated with different networks and communication services. Investigators say this volume of data suggests a wide communication network that is now being mapped and examined.

Officials also confirmed that the phone contained two separate WhatsApp accounts operating on a single device—one linked to a personal number and another reportedly used for business purposes. Authorities added that the forensic analysis is ongoing, and further developments are expected as investigators continue reviewing the digital evidence.
