Pakistan And China Examine Opportunities For Investments

The primary aim of these meetings was to enhance economic relations between Pakistan and China while exploring investment prospects within Pakistan. This information was conveyed in a statement issued on Saturday.

During his interaction with Wang Zihai, the Director of China-Pakistan (Qingdao) International Cooperation Hub, the discussions revolved around investment opportunities in Pakistan. These opportunities encompassed various sectors, including civilian and defense equipment, lithium batteries for electric vehicles, solar panels, and semiconductors. Additionally, they deliberated on the role of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) in streamlining the investment process.

In a meeting with Li Yiman, Chairperson of Eman Logistics, the focus was on expanding Pakistan’s representation on Chinese digital platforms. Eman Logistics plans to introduce “Pakistan National Pavilion” display centers in China as a testament to their commitment to digital diplomacy. The minister pledged complete support and assistance for this initiative.

Furthermore, Dr. Gohar Ejaz engaged in conversations with Jin Weidong, the President of leading Chinese agri-producer Wellhope. He highlighted the substantial opportunities present in Pakistan’s agricultural, poultry, and meat sectors. The minister expressed that Wellhope’s global leadership in smart farming and meat processing could pave the way for a mutually advantageous partnership.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
