The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has stressed the need for citizens to update their marital status after receiving a computerized marriage certificate from the Union Council.
NADRA highlighted that this step is vital for maintaining accurate family records in the national database.

An updated marital status helps avoid issues when applying for children’s B-Forms and CNICs and ensures accuracy on official documents like passports.
It is also required for obtaining key legal documents such as the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) and Succession Certificate, often needed for legal and official matters.
Citizens can update their status by visiting NADRA offices or using the Pak-ID mobile app for convenience
