The missing official, Deputy Assistant Director Najeebullah, purportedly departed from his residence in Islamabad for Peshawar on the previous night and has not been heard from since. According to the complainant, Najeebullah left his home during the night, expressing his intention to travel to Peshawar. Subsequently, Asadullah received a distressing call from Najeebullah himself, revealing that he had fallen victim to an abduction orchestrated by unidentified individuals.

Following the registration of the case, the police have initiated an investigation into the matter to uncover the circumstances surrounding Najeebullah’s disappearance. One crucial aspect of the inquiry involves gathering information on the call made by the abducted NADRA official. Investigators are meticulously examining the call record to extract any relevant details that may provide leads or insights into the incident.

In addition to scrutinizing the call data, law enforcement authorities are utilizing technology to aid in the search for Najeebullah. The police are reviewing the footage obtained from Safe City cameras, a part of the city’s surveillance system, to trace the movements and potential whereabouts of the missing NADRA official. This comprehensive approach aims to leverage both communication records and video surveillance to piece together a timeline and gather evidence in the investigation.

The situation raises concerns about the safety and security of individuals in sensitive positions, especially those involved in vital government institutions such as NADRA. The swift response from law enforcement, including the initiation of an investigation and the utilization of technological resources, underscores the seriousness with which authorities are treating this case.

As the investigation unfolds, there will likely be efforts to establish the motive behind Najeebullah’s alleged abduction and identify those responsible. The incident highlights the need for continued vigilance and security measures to safeguard individuals working in critical roles within government organizations, ensuring their safety and protecting the integrity of essential institutions. The outcome of the investigation will shed light on the circumstances surrounding Najeebullah’s disappearance and contribute to broader discussions on enhancing security protocols to prevent such incidents in the future.
