According to a report from Windows Latest, the business is presently developing unique ARM chips that will be enhanced for best performance when used with the forthcoming Windows 12 operating system.

The business has published a number of job advertisements that underline its long-term goals to assist this endeavour. The M-series CPUs from Apple are made expressly to work with the macOS operating system, giving MacBook customers optimal performance and longer battery life. Additionally, it offers more performance and power efficiency control over hardware. Apple is currently developing its M3 processor, which will be manufactured using TSMC’s 3nm design.

According to reports, Microsoft is reportedly working on Windows 12 with optimisations made for its own unique silicon. The upcoming operating system is anticipated to include features that can take advantage of Microsoft’s unique ARM processor, particularly with AI-focused capabilities.

It should be highlighted that since Microsoft is in charge of the specifics, it is still too early to draw firm conclusions. As the market leader in custom chips, Apple is getting ready to introduce its third-generation chip, built on the 3nm architecture and promising improved performance and battery life.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
