Lahore Safari Park set For Singapore Style Enhancement

The caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, has unveiled an ambitious revitalization plan for Lahore’s renowned Safari Zoo Park. During his visit to the park, he laid the foundation stone for the upgrade and inspected various sections, including Sher Ghar, the Lake, and animal cages.

Embarking on a boat ride, the caretaker CM directed officials to enhance water cleanliness and upgrade recreational facilities for visitors. Additionally, Naqvi revealed plans to introduce more animals, such as elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and various deer species to the park.

Furthermore, the caretaker CM announced the creation of separate zones dedicated to African, desert, and salt range wildlife. He highlighted the upcoming launch of a night safari and disclosed plans for specially designed huts within the park, allowing visitors to stay overnight.

Accompanied by Provincial Ministers Amir Mir, Bilal Afzal, Adviser Wahab Riaz, Chairman Planning and Development Board, Secretaries of Forests, Wildlife and Fisheries, Construction and Communications, Livestock, the Director General of Wildlife, and other officials, Naqvi is spearheading these transformative efforts for Lahore’s Safari Zoo Park.
