The Expatriate Services Division has introduced a similar photo verification process for applications submitted through its system.
However, the process for ESD applicants and employers is designed to be more streamlined.
Users of the ESD system can access the eVISA verification platform directly through a link provided inside the ESD portal.
This allows applicants and employers to complete the required photo verification without having to separately search for the verification platform.
The new process is part of Malaysia’s efforts to strengthen document and identity verification for expatriate-related applications.
