In a recent attack, Israel targeted Palestine’s Children’s Hospital with white phosphorus bombs, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the occupied territory.
In addition to ongoing airstrikes, Israeli soldiers have conducted localized raids in Gaza to apprehend hostages. Israeli forces have also mobilized over 300,000 reservists along the Gaza border, potentially preparing for a full-scale ground operation.
Moreover, Tel Aviv has issued evacuation orders for more than one million people in Palestine, urging them to move southward in anticipation of a ground operation. Tens of thousands of residents in Gaza have left their homes.
This escalation began when Israeli forces launched a harsh campaign against Gaza in response to a sudden attack by the Palestinian group Hamas in Israeli territories. The conflict began last Saturday and quickly escalated into a full-blown war as Hamas initiated ‘Operation Al-Aqsa Flood,’ which involved a barrage of rocket attacks and infiltrations into Israel by land, sea, and air.
