Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan is reportedly making a comeback to Bollywood after an eight-year break. Recent reports have surfaced indicating that he will star alongside Vaani Kapoor in an upcoming film, though details about the project remain scarce. Additionally, Indian outlets such as News18 have suggested that Khan has two Bollywood projects lined up, including a potential cameo in Kartik Aaryan’s much-awaited comedy horror film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

While an official announcement from the filmmakers and director Anees Bazmee is awaited, fans are eagerly anticipating Khan’s return to the big screen. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, produced by T-Series Films and Cine1 Studios, is slated for a Diwali 2024 release and serves as a sequel to the 2022 hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Khan’s last appearance in Bollywood was in the 2016 romantic drama Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
In confirmed news, Khan is set to reunite with Sanam Saeed in the upcoming series Barzakh, marking their first collaboration since the hit show Zindagi Gulzar Hai, twelve years ago. Barzakh follows the story of a reclusive resort owner who gathers his estranged children for his third wedding, only to uncover startling truths about his bride-to-be’s mysterious past. Barzakh is scheduled to premiere on July 19 on Zindagi’s YouTube channel and ZEE5.
In a recent interview with The Khaleej Times, Khan humbly reflected on his career, stating, “I don’t consider myself a superstar. I see myself as a modest contributor in the grand scheme of things.” He highlighted how the dynamics of stardom have evolved with the expansion of media platforms and the rise of content-driven projects, emphasizing that what truly matters in today’s competitive market is the unique contribution each actor brings to their roles.
