The Government of Punjab Pakistan has launched a new program to support women’s economic empowerment. The initiative is named e-Learn She Earn and focuses on digital skill development.
Under the e-Learn She Earn program, thousands of women will receive free training in modern digital fields. The aim is to help women earn income through online work and remote jobs.
Officials said the program targets women between the ages of 15 and 35. It will run for one year with an estimated cost of Rs700 million. The training will be delivered through free online courses.
The e-Learn She Earn initiative will offer three-month training sessions. These courses will focus on practical and high-demand skills. The goal is to prepare women for the digital job market.
Training areas include digital customer care, graphic design, and e-commerce management. It also covers digital marketing and virtual assistance. These skills are in demand in online global markets.
In addition to training, selected participants will receive further support. This includes laptops, internet access, and a monthly stipend. These facilities aim to remove barriers to learning.
Officials said the e-Learn She Earn program is designed to improve financial independence for women. It encourages participants to start online businesses or work remotely for companies.
The government believes the program will help increase women’s participation in the digital economy. It is also expected to improve job opportunities in both urban and rural areas.
Authorities said the initiative focuses on practical skills linked to real employment opportunities. The e-Learn She Earn program is expected to bridge the gap between education and earning.
Officials described the project as a step toward inclusive development. They said empowering women through digital education will strengthen the overall economy.
