The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Lahore) has officially released roll number slips for students appearing in the Intermediate Part II annual examinations 2026, marking an important step toward the upcoming examination phase.
According to a spokesperson of the Lahore Board, a total of 192,337 candidates will take part in this year’s examinations. This large number reflects the growing participation of students across both public and private educational institutions under the board’s jurisdiction. Out of the total registered candidates, more than 137,000 are regular students enrolled in colleges, while 54,734 candidates have registered as private students.
The Chairman of BISE Lahore, Tahir Javed, highlighted that all necessary arrangements have been finalized to ensure the smooth, fair, and transparent conduct of the examinations. To facilitate this process, the board has established 566 examination centers across different regions. These centers have been carefully organized to manage the large number of students and to maintain discipline and efficiency during the examination period.
As per the official schedule, the Intermediate Part II annual examinations are set to commence from May 20, 2026. The board has urged all students to collect their roll number slips without delay in order to avoid any inconvenience at the last moment. Candidates are also advised to carefully follow the instructions mentioned on their slips and to prepare according to the examination timetable.
The spokesperson further emphasized the importance of punctuality and discipline, encouraging students to reach their examination centers on time and adhere strictly to the examination rules. The administration has assured that strict monitoring will be in place to ensure transparency and prevent any unfair practices during the exams.
With preparations now complete, the board is focused on conducting a smooth examination session that upholds academic standards and ensures a fair assessment for all candidates.
