Pakistani Nation Courageously Battles Terrorism Bahrain Naval Chief

The Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force, Rear Admiral Ahmed Mohammed Ebrahim Al Bin Ali, praised Pakistan’s armed forces during a passing-out parade at the Pakistan Naval Academy on Saturday. He highlighted the nation’s bravery in fighting terrorism and its professional military standards.

The ceremony marked the graduation of the 124th Midshipmen and 32nd Short Course Commission. Cadets marched past the saluting base carrying Pakistan’s national flag. Rear Admiral Al Bin Ali, who is an alumnus of the Pakistan Naval Academy, was invited as the chief guest.

He expressed gratitude to the Chief of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, for the invitation. “Pakistan’s armed forces are among the finest in the world,” he said. He emphasized that technology has changed the nature of warfare, urging cadets to adapt to modern advancements.

Rear Admiral Al Bin Ali encouraged the cadets to use their skills for the benefit of Pakistan. “It is an honour to attend this parade. Cadets have a world of opportunities before them,” he added. He also praised the academy for training officers from other countries, calling it a source of pride for Pakistan.

He highlighted the strong bond between Bahrain and Pakistan, stating, “We are bound by Islamic brotherhood. Friendship between our nations will always endure.” He urged cadets to maintain professionalism and serve Pakistan with dedication.

The ceremony began with Admiral Naveed Ashraf receiving the parade salute, followed by an inspection by Rear Admiral Al Bin Ali. Commodore Zia-ur-Rehman delivered the welcome address, praising the Pakistan Navy and the academy’s distinguished training programs.

Awards were presented to top-performing cadets. Officer Cadet Umar Mukhtar received the Chief of Naval Staff Gold Medal. Midshipman Muhammad Uzair Abbas earned the Sword of Honour for exceptional performance. Midshipman Shahab Ahmed was named Best All-Round Cadet, while Fahad Hasan received the Chief of Naval Staff Gold Medal for Iraq.
