Punjab Widens Hunarmand Jawan Initiative With Free Advanced IT Training

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has rolled out the next phase of her signature “Maryam Nawaz ka Hunarmand Jawan” program to build a digitally skilled and self-sufficient youth workforce.

In this phase, free advanced IT training is being offered in high-demand areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Database Administration, and CRM Fundamentals. Training will take place across 64 TEVTA institutes in the province.

Maryam Nawaz congratulated the 1,600 students who secured admission through a competitive online test and interviews, calling them the “future of a skilled Punjab.”

A major feature of the initiative is the international certification that participants will earn, with courses delivered in partnership with leading global tech companies such as Microsoft, Meta, Adobe, and Cisco. She emphasized that the program reflects the government’s strong commitment to youth empowerment and economic growth, noting that a digitally skilled talent pool is vital for innovation and investment.

“We are building a skilled and self-reliant Punjab,” she stated, reaffirming her vision of transforming the province into a hub of digital talent and opportunity.
