ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani government has approved plans to completely redesign the country’s national passport, introducing a fresh and modern look that reflects the nation’s heritage.
According to official sources, the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports received approval from the Ministry of Interior to move forward with the new design. The updated passport will showcase images of historic and cultural landmarks representing all four provinces, symbolizing the country’s unity and diversity.
In addition to its visual overhaul, the new passport will also include advanced security features aimed at enhancing protection against forgery and ensuring compliance with international travel standards.
Authorities confirmed that the printing process for the redesigned passport will begin soon, marking a significant upgrade to Pakistan’s travel documentation system.
