Rana Sanaullah Draws The Line, Warns PTI Against March

Rana Sanaullah has issued a strong warning to PTI, cautioning that any attempt to march on Islamabad will be met with firm action. The senior PML-N leader said the government would not allow any political group to disrupt peace or challenge the state’s authority under the guise of protest.

Addressing reporters in Lahore, Sanaullah criticized PTI’s strategy of repeated street demonstrations, claiming the party’s activities were aimed at destabilizing national governance rather than promoting democracy. “No one will be allowed to hold the capital hostage again. The government will act decisively if PTI tries to provoke unrest,” he stated.

The warning comes amid renewed political heat as PTI mobilizes supporters across various cities. Party officials insist their movement is peaceful and focused on securing justice for their detained leader, Imran Khan, and other party members. However, government sources say such gatherings could easily spiral into chaos, recalling the tense atmosphere of previous long marches.

Meanwhile, legal proceedings around the PTI chairman continue to gain attention. The list of PTI lawyers representing Imran Khan in the upcoming hearings has now been formally submitted to authorities, ensuring transparency in his ongoing cases.

Analysts view Rana Sanaullah’s statement as a signal that the government is preparing for a tougher stance should PTI attempt another major street protest. The timing of his remarks also suggests growing concern within the ruling coalition over the opposition’s momentum.

As tensions rise, political observers note that PTI’s next steps could determine whether the situation heads toward confrontation or cautious negotiation. The government insists that maintaining law and order remains its top priority, while PTI continues to claim it is fighting for democratic rights.

For now, the capital watches closely, waiting to see whether the latest warning will deter another march or ignite yet another chapter in Pakistan’s long-running political standoff.
