Pakistan Railways Unveils Revised Winter Schedule for Trains

Pakistan Railways has introduced a revised winter timetable for operations nationwide of trains, effective from today.

According to an official statement, departure timings for 16 trains have been slightly adjusted, while three trains have had certain station stops removed. Four previously suspended services have also been restored under the new schedule.

Notable changes include the Allama Iqbal Express departing Sialkot at 7:30 a.m. instead of 7:00 a.m., and the Narowal Passenger Train leaving at 7:25 a.m. rather than 7:00 a.m. The Faiz Ahmed Faiz Passenger will now depart Narowal at 5:00 a.m., 30 minutes earlier.

Similarly, the Awam Express will now leave Karachi at 8:00 a.m. instead of 7:30 a.m., and the Shalimar Express will depart Lahore at 7:10 a.m. instead of 7:30 a.m.

Additionally, nine trains — including the Rehman Baba Express, Karachi Express, Shalimar Express, Jaffar Express, Pak Business Express, Pakpattan Express, Tezgam, and Millat Express — have been granted permanent stops at previously temporary stations.
