Security forces conducted a major intelligence-based operation in the Zehri area of Khuzdar, successfully eliminating multiple terrorists and destroying several hideouts belonging to the banned outfit Fitna-ul-Hindustan.
According to official sources, the operation was launched after intelligence reports indicated the presence of terrorist elements in the region. During the encounter, security forces came under fire but responded swiftly and effectively, killing 14 terrorists and injuring more than 20 others.
Authorities said the terrorists were planning attacks to destabilize the area and threaten local communities. Security forces acted decisively to prevent their plans, ensuring the safety of residents and restoring peace in the region.
During the operation, several hideouts used by the group for planning and logistics were destroyed. Weapons, ammunition, and communication equipment were also recovered from the site.
