Gas Supply Will Remain Uninterrupted On 12th Rabi Ul Awwal

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has confirmed that gas supply in Karachi will remain uninterrupted on 12th Rabi’ al-Awwal. Residents can expect continuous gas availability from 10 p.m. tonight until morning.

SSGC assured consumers that gas service will continue smoothly without any suspension until 10 p.m. on 6 September. The company emphasized that there are no planned interruptions during this period.

In a related announcement, the Sindh government declared public holidays on 5 and 6 September 2025 in observance of 12th Rabi ul Awwal. All government offices, public and semi-public institutions, corporations, and local councils under Sindh’s administration will remain closed across the province.

However, officials assigned to essential services, flood duty, and emergency operations will continue their work during the holidays. Authorities urged residents to plan their schedules accordingly.

SSGC highlighted that the uninterrupted gas supply ensures residents can carry out daily activities without disruption. Households and businesses will benefit from continuous energy availability throughout the holidays.

The government and SSGC both emphasized the importance of maintaining essential services even during public holidays. This ensures public safety and convenience while allowing citizens to observe religious events comfortably.

Officials also advised residents to use gas responsibly and report any emergencies promptly. Proper usage and timely reporting of issues help maintain continuous service for everyone.

The announcement reflects the commitment of SSGC and Sindh authorities to provide reliable gas supply and support essential services, especially during holidays and religious observances.
