Police in the capital have arrested a man accused of harassing and attempting to abduct female TikToker Samiya Hijab.
Officials confirmed the arrest was made within the jurisdiction of Shalimar Police Station, where an FIR had already been registered.
Sources said the suspect had been stalking Samiya for several days before attempting to abduct her on August 31 around 6:30 pm. His identity and photo have not been disclosed.
Police added that the suspect is in custody, with initial inquiries completed and further investigation underway.
