A Punjab Assembly session turned chaotic on Monday when PTI MPA Khalid Nisar Slaps Hassan Riaz amid a heated exchange.
According to sources, the scuffle broke out after Dogar warned Riaz to stop making provocative remarks during the session. The argument escalated rapidly, culminating in Dogar slapping Riaz in full view of fellow legislators.
Other assembly members rushed to separate the two and calm the situation. The session was temporarily suspended following the incident.
Lawmakers from both sides condemned the act, calling it a disgrace to the Assembly’s decorum. Officials stated that the incident will prompt a review of parliamentary conduct rules, with possible disciplinary measures being considered.
