Iran fired a barrage of ballistic missiles at Israel late Friday in retaliation for an earlier Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear and military facilities, killing at least three people and injuring 91, according to reports from Anadolu Agency.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed targeting multiple locations, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, in response to the killing of senior Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists. The Israeli attack, which occurred earlier on Friday, struck sites in Tehran, Natanz, Isfahan, and Shiraz, leaving at least 78 dead—including high-ranking officials and nuclear experts—and over 320 wounded.

Strikes Trigger Air Defenses, Cause Damage

Sirens blared across Israel as explosions were reported in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Footage captured missiles streaking across the night sky, with some intercepted by Israel’s defense systems. In Ashkelon, Tubas, and Jerusalem, residents witnessed the incoming projectiles, while emergency crews rushed to assess damage in Ramat Gan and Tel Aviv, where fires broke out after impacts.

The escalation marks a significant intensification in regional tensions, with both sides exchanging direct military blows. The international community watches closely as the conflict risks further destabilization in the Middle East.
