“Pakistan itself is battling terrorism,” Afridi stated, expressing sorrow over the loss of innocent lives in Kashmir and the surge in terrorist attacks within Pakistan.
He stressed that dialogue remains the only effective solution to Pakistan-India disputes. “Conflict leads nowhere. Politics should not overshadow cricket,” he added.
